HOW IMPORTANT IS ENGLISH? 1B


iNTERRESTING. iT's different this time. Reading 6 short articles written by students from all over Malaysia is different because before this we just read the articles or short stories from establish writers.Now, we are reading the articles from the writers who are at our age.

    1C...Gosh , their English is good. Looking at their age, I just don't believe it. They are younger than us, but their english, just like Senario say "Marvellous"

    Happy to be back here. Such a long silence, right. I feel so tired too, too much homework, too much nagging from teachers and too many activities at school. Huh...sometimes I wanna cry, just too tired.

    Yes, I agree with you, I am impressed with the writers. Can we be like them? 1D

    1A: We can be like them, I guess these students use English also with their parents and siblings and also friends. As for us, we just use English during English period, what to do? When I read those articles, they are not using difficult words. Their sentences are also not long. Simple but correct. That is what teacher always say to us, right?

    1D. ...when we read their sentences, it is simple and we can understand the ideas. But, when we create our own sentence, I can always see the underline that teacher do on our paper sob...sob..sob...

      1A: Have the same feeling. I feel that my sentences are correct already but when teacher give back our essays...OMG OMG full of lipstick (the term used by teacher ;))

    (1C) But at least we are trying our best to use english especially in our blog. Remember when we start this last year?? Everybody afraid to post, afarid that our friends will laugh at us. Now, we can write although still make grammar mistakes.

    1B: Agreed. It is our surrounding that do not really help us to improve our English as the students at the west side. But we need to find ways to improve and I feel that reading can help us, right?

      1D....I guess so, we have read a lot of English articles and now we are reading Control Freak. And the best part, we are comparing the story with the movie.
