Hi frenz, we really fill our recess time today. Reading the article "Sugar Kids" open up my eyes that we cannot take our health lightly now. Just look at Ansley, 2 years old, suffering type 1 diabetes already. At that age?
You are punctual hihihi I like. es, before this I always thought that diabetes patients will be adults or the old generation. Gosh, I am wrong. This article tells us that even having continuous flu can be a sympton as a diabetes. 1E
Proud to be in this group :)). This is a good article, not a story as the one we always read, this is more factual. Normally when our mother has diabetic, we will have it too. Honestly, I am afraid when I know this because my mom is having diabetise. >>>1A
1D>>.Gosh, I don't know that your mother is having diabetics. Why don't you told us when we discuss this? I think you need to reduce the sweet food and drink from now. I t can help to control the amount of sugar in your body. Sad to know this :((
1B: Sad to hear that too. After this we will keep reminding you about your health, remember what it states in the article?, The patients can survive for years, but you need to always take care of yourself. Luv u dear.
1A...I have seen her on bed, sometimes spent time in the hospital when the sugar level is too high. And one more thing, the diabetics patient can also suffer if the sugar level is too low. But, she is strong, she keep smiling but I know, somettimes the pain is too much. Tq girls.
1C....Be careful if we have these symptoms: >>extreme thirst >>frequent urination >>drowsiness >>sudden vision changes >>increase appetite >>sudden weight loss
In the article, it also states that if we know we are having the diabetics, we need to self-check the blood glucose, taking medications, measure the carbohydrate intake and stay active. Yeah.. we might suffer from the disease but again...we can take control of our body. 1B
1E>> this article opens our eyes and mind...I would say good bye to my coca cola, my pepsi (used to be my favourites)...more sky juice after this. (wonder how long can I do this????)
For our benefits in the future, why not we try??? slowly, step by step, may be we can still take the can drinks once a week and after that reduce to once a month..and keep reduce the intake. (1A)

Delete!B>>>This is not being exposed to the citizen of Malaysia. But at Atlanta they are taking this issue seriously, just as stated in the article, right?

Tq , we need to always remind ourselves about the symptoms. Sometimes we just take things for granted. 1D
